December 26, 2013 By Tom

This post is part of Think Kit by SmallBox, today’s prompt: “What are you grateful for this year?”

I feel like I’ve touched on what I’m grateful for in numerous ways over the Think Kit series.  I’m grateful for family, friends, a support network, being gifted with a passion and chasing my dreams, living Free Will and a whole lot more.

I’m grateful for the technology that lets me stay connected to people down the street or half way around the world.  I’m thankful for my close friend JK, who lives half way around the world in Singapore and that technology allows me to converse with her just about every day.

I’m grateful that despite how sore I am when I wake up, how much my back might ache, I’ve found ways to make sure it doesn’t hold me back.

I’m grateful that when I got clipped by a car back in August, it wasn’t worse.

I’m grateful that I’ve learned a hell of a lot in 2013, through life, travel, perseverance and reality.

Mainly, I’m grateful for everyone around me who helps me make me a better person.
